published a grant application template and called for regional projects to be submitted.

any transportation grant that may come along.

If you are a Fleet Manager
interested in getting immediate feedback on a range of
problem areas from other fleet managers in the region, the Municipal Equipment
Maintenance Association (MEMA) may be for you. MEMA and the Sacramento Clean Cities
Coalition (SCCC) have teamed up to make your first year’s membership, normally
$275, absolutely FREE if you are willing to help SCCC bring more federal and state
grants, informational events and webinars and technician training opportunities to the
Sacramento region.

Covers 50-75% of eligible equipment and software costs up to $3 million (standard) or $footer_4 (Jump Start equity criteria).

$1.3B Federal Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Grant:
The Federal Highway Administration has issued a $1.3B competitive grant program
to fund alternative fuel and electric vehicle charging in urban and rural
communities in publicly accessible locations, including downtown areas and local
neighborhoods, particularly in underserved and disadvantaged communities.
Applicants to Phase One who were not funded may request that their Phase One applications be reconsidered if that request is made (by email) by July 1.
New applications are due (by mail…no email applications accepted) by August 28
Eligible items include, but are not limited to, compressors, chillers, liquid and gaseous hydrogen
pumps and storage, electrolysis equipment, transformers, switch gear, hydrogen
pumps, high-pressure storage, point-of-sale systems, piping and pipelines.
NREL $5M Clean Bus Planning Program:
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has announced planning grants to
provide technical assistance to create customized bus electrification plans.
Applications for assistance are open on a rolling basis through Sept. 30, 2024
Grants targeting clean energy and resilience including low- and zero-emission
technologies and workforce development supporting the reduction of greenhouse
gas emissions
Applications reviewed on a rolling basis for one year, closing on November 21, 2024
DERA Tribal and Territory Grant Program in Spring:
EPA has announced that their 2024 “Diesel Emission Reduction Act” (DERA) grant
program for Tribes and Territories will be available this Spring.
